1st Thatcham Scout Group is made up of 4 sections. A Squirrel Dray, a Beaver Colony, a Cub Pack, and a Scout Troop. They meet at the Scout Hut, which is situated close on Thackery Lane, opposite St.Mary’s Church in Thatcham.
Meeting times
Squirrels (4 – 6 yrs old)
Saturdays – 11am – 12:00pm
Beavers (6 – 8 yrs old)
Tuesdays – 5.30pm – 6.30pm
Cubs – (8 – 10½ yrs old)
Mondays – 6.pm – 7.30pm
Scouts – (10½ – 14 yrs old)
Tuesdays – 7.30pm – 9pm

How to recognise us
Scouts wear distinctive scarves also known as a ‘neckers’. These help to differentiate one group from another. 1st Thatcham’s necker is mostly dark green with a red trim.
