Scout Active Support

What is Scout Active Support?

Scout Active Support is a way that adults can provide support to local Scout Groups.

What does Scout Active Support do?

The answer is anything that supports Scouting. Scout Active Support is a way for adults to volunteer some time to Scouting in a flexible way that suits them. Scout Active Support is a resource for Managers of local Scouting to use in whichever way is required.

The ways that Scout Active Support can aid Scouting are almost endless; We also hold regular meetings (often at the pub!!) we have in the past done walks, lunches, gin evenings, evening meals for special occasions, coffee and cake etc.

We have helped at fun days, district camps, cooking competition’s, Beaver tea party. Everyone is welcome!! 😀

  How to recognise us

Scouts wear distinctive scarves also known as a ‘neckers’. These help to differentiate one group from another. The Scout Active Support necker is purple with a silver border.
